General Social Programme
At ICE Programme, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. Our General Social Programme offers an exciting chance for students to connect, have fun, and explore Liverpool together. With many of our social events just a short walk from the school, you’ll have easy access to all the action!
We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment that celebrates diversity. Our social activities are designed to be inclusive and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of background. Plus, our Social Programme Coordinator is a certified green badge guide, ensuring that you’ll get to discover the best of Liverpool through engaging and informative tours.
Qualified and Supportive Staff
Rest assured, you're in good hands! All our teaching faculty are fully qualified English teachers who meet the British Council's high standards. Our activities staff and SSP coordinators are also experts in their fields. To ensure safety, all staff members undergo DBS (police) checks during the recruitment process, adhering to strict child protection policies.
Engaging Classes
Get ready to improve your English in a fun and interactive way! Our classes are capped at 15 students, allowing for personalized attention and dynamic group work. You'll take a placement test at the start to find the right level for you, and we use the latest materials from Macmillan Publishers, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
Whether you're at the Elementary (A1) or Advanced (C1) level, our teachers use a variety of engaging methods—think interactive technology, games, and group projects—to make learning enjoyable and practical. You’ll graduate with a certificate that showcases your progress, and if you move up a level during the programme, you’ll receive a certificate for that, too!
Explore Liverpool and beyond
Liverpool isn’t just a city; it’s an experience! Known for being the second safest city in the UK, it’s famous for its friendly vibe and vibrant culture. With more art galleries and museums than any other city outside London, as well as two stunning cathedrals and major football teams, there’s so much to see and do!
Just a 5-10 minute walk from our school, you can discover exciting attractions and enjoy fantastic transport links for easy travel around the country. As a UNESCO World Heritage site and the European Capital of Culture 2008, Liverpool is a place rich in history and creativity. Plus, living here means you’ll immerse yourself in a true British experience, surrounded by native speakers and locals who love to share their culture. With easy access to many other beautiful English and Welsh cities Liverpool really is the heart of England.
